Help at Home

Adult day centers provide a safe and caring place where elders and persons with a disability can spend the day. They can offer your loved one companionship and enjoyable activities and give you some much-needed time for yourself.

Whether your loved one lives with you or in his or her own home, there are services that can make life simpler and safer.

• Homemakers, home health aides, and companions can provide assistance and companionship.

• Home modification and assistive devices can help your loved one do things more easily.

• Meals on Wheels and other food programs can provide a hot meal.

• Emergency response systems can call for help if it’s needed.
