Suspected Abuse or Self-Neglect

If you suspect that someone 60 or older or a person with a disability is being abused, exploited or neglected it is your duty to report the problem. Each community has a Senior Citizen Police Advocate. To report abuse, exploitation or neglect please call:

• RI Department of Elderly Affairs’ Elderly Abuse Unit at 462-0555.

• DEA at 462-3000 for the number of the Senior Citizen Police Advocate in your community.
